Here is information about the founder (Angelica Gantt): I was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. I graduated college with a Bachelor of Arts in African and African American Studies & Political Science from a liberal arts institution in Kentucky. I received my Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Strategic Management and Leadership from a liberal arts institution in South Carolina. I have completed different certifications including a certification in Financial Planning for Young Adults from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign through Coursera along with several other accolades. My inspiration for teaching and learning about finance flourished during my time in undergrad by taking financial literacy and business courses to enhance my knowledge. After graduating college, I increased my interest in building and maintaining wealth by researching, reading and actively investing in the stock market which led to doubling my net worth within two years.
